A lot of things have changed in my life lately. I've come to terms with the fact that some people are not going to be in my life once college starts like I thought. Even people who I felt were some of my best friends. Yep, such is life.
I feel like I've changed in the sense that with every year, I realize how much people suck. And don't try to change my mind otherwise because I feel like i was given a group of people to befriend in high school, and one by one they've fallen and disappeared with the years, leaving me with the few friends I have left. College to me seems like it'll be the same, seeing as though my school is about the same size as Maine West.
I feel like a fruit writing in this but I can only vent on Graem so much. Kthnxbye.

Haven't posted since last year and I felt it was time.

+Two snow/cold days off of school. Kay, nice.
+After I fill out the FAFSA junk I'm pretty much done with college stress for a while.
+Still in an amazing relationship for the first time in my life. No complaints with that.
+So close to graduating.
+I'm digging dish network, mainly because I have IMF now and that station rules.
-Really sick of all this busy work that school has been giving me lately.
-My anxiety needs to stop.
-Want to meet new people cause I realized how I'm only close with a few people now. It's amazing how people drift apart.

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press play.
4. For every question, type the song that's playing.

Short and simple:

+No school for a week.
+In love.
-Am I the only one who is severely bothered by U2 & Green Day's cover of "The Saints are Coming"? I love the original version by the Skids. Why'd they have to ruin it? And why doesn't Green Day go back to playing good pop punk and wearing flannel again? They should have just stopped after Dookie or something. 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours was their best cd.
-I want to fast-forward my life to the year 2012.

Alas! I have been tagged.

List five songs that you currently love. It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now. Post these instructions, the artists, and the songs in your blog. Then tag five other Livejournal friends to see what they're listening to.

1. "Into the Valley" - The Skids
2. "Catharsis for Dummies" - A Wilhelm Scream
3. "Next Door to an Angel" - Neil Sedaka
4. Everything off of "Oh! Calcutta!" By the Lawrence Arms
5. "Smack That" - Akon (maybe go to my place and just kick it, like TaeBo)
Also, that Gwen Stefani song where she yodels isn't good, and I'm not diggin it, but it's always in my head. And Fergalicious too.

I tag anyone who reads this.

-College is pissing me off. And I should probably start applying...oh well.
-This school year really sucks. I don't get to see a lot of people. And Ms Kent is a total tartwad and doesn't know anything.
-I hate the winter and it's getting colder and darker by the moment.
-Fergie needs to die. Literally.
+Saw Graem two weekends in a row. (Note: this positive overwrites every single negative mentioned. That's fucking power, baby.)

could nick lachey be more emo?

My life is amazing at the moment.
Journalism camp itself blew but I met a few cool people. If you want to know more details, you can ask. But at camp I won Most Improved Writer, so that 's an accomplishment.
I realized that (and I'm not bragging or anything) that I've done well enough in the past 3 years in high school to not give a shit this year. I'm not going to get too worked up about anything school related. And let me tell you, that feels awesome.
I'm going to see John Tucker Must Die tonight with Kait Bait and I'm happy because I haven't seen her in a while.
Other than that, nothing else is new with me.  Hope you all are doing well. Enjoy the last few weeks of freedom because school with come and kick you in the ass before you know it. Jerks.

I'm still around folks.
Here's a quick update on life and such:

+ Started reading High Fidelity and I really like it so far.
+ Summer is going good. My vacation was a nice break (I'll have pictures soon) and I've seen a bunch of people.
+ I met Jonathan W. Decious, which pretty much made my life.
+ There's a possibility of meeting him again if Kait and I go to warped.
+ Found a digital camera at the zoo.
+ I'm breaking out of the myspace addiction.
+ Been reading a lot about greenpeace lately.

- I have to go to journalism camp soon and I'm not looking forward to it. Thankfully I'll have Alena there...even though we can't room together.
- I haven't even bought Crime and Punishment and I think our school is psycho for thinking I'm going to actually read it.
- No boy in my life, but it's not really a negative. I'm pretty content and even happy without one right now.
- Bunch of doctor appointments this month..not fun.
- Not seeing everyone that I want to yet.

So yes. That's the update. Time to copy and paste this into the xanga that no one reads.

I love JC Chasez. His songs are so deep. Exhibit A:

All day long I dream about sex
And all night long I think about sex
And all the time I think about sex with you, with you
All day long I dream about sex
And all night long I think about sex
And all the time I think about sex with you, with you

If only I had that talent.

I do not even have enough time in the world to describe all of my feelings into one entry.
The Westerner disappointed me greatly today because I put a lot of time into my review and didn't see it published (nor online for that matter. hm?). I've given up, however, in letting it get to me.
I only have to put up with one more day of everyone, so I guess that lifts my spirits for the time being. Although my family has been getting on my nerves more than usual lately. A lot more yelling and bickering. I'm hoping I can spend this break with people I really love, haven't spoken to in a while, or people I don't usually hang out with.
